Viratos Solutions | Supplement Consulting for Team Alignment & Process Improvement

About Viratos Solutions

Built on Real Experience.
Driven by Clarity.
Committed to Unifying Teams.

Leadership development consulting for strategic growth in the dietary supplement industry.

Why Viratos Solutions Exists

The dietary supplement industry moves quickly, and teams often work in silos that create misunderstandings, delays, and preventable risk. After nearly two decades inside supplement manufacturing and navigating quality challenges, operational pressures, leadership transitions, and organizational change, we saw a clear pattern.

The problems were not caused by people. They were caused by misalignment.

Viratos Solutions was created to close those gaps with intention. Our purpose is clear: unifying teams with intentionality. We do this by strengthening communication, expectations, and collaboration so teams can operate with clarity and confidence rather than relying on complexity or blame.

What We Saw in the Industry

Across Operations, Quality, Sales, Finance, and Product Development, teams were working hard but not always working together. This lack of unity created rework, delays, inconsistent quality, and frustration across the supply chain.

The industry needed a partner who understood the realities of daily work and could bridge these gaps with empathy, transparency, and practical leadership. Viratos was built to be that partner.

Meet the Founder

Founder, Brea Viratos
Early Career
Brea began her career in a high throughput food science laboratory at Bayer. When the company asked her to relocate from the Pacific Northwest, she chose to stay and accepted a role in quality management at a large nutraceutical contract manufacturer in the Portland area.
Fun Facts:

Brea is a lifelong learner. She holds a winemaking certificate from UC Davis, has completed WSET Level Two, and is currently pursuing WSET Level Three certification.

Entering a Turnaround
After five years, a longtime colleague reached out with a challenge that aligned with her strengths. A local dietary supplement manufacturer had recently lost its NSF certification and its largest customer. Shortly afterward, the FDA conducted a month long inspection at the company’s East Coast facility and issued a Form 483 with more than 80 pages of observations.

Brea joined the organization to help restore operational and quality integrity. She evaluated the existing systems and the team, clarified roles and responsibilities, and worked closely with cross functional groups to create processes that supported collaboration. She also helped break down the silos that were contributing to recurring issues.

With these changes in place, the team successfully closed the 483 without a warning letter. During a follow up inspection at the Pacific Northwest facility, the FDA inspector congratulated her on closing such a significant 483 without legal support. No 483 was issued at that inspection.

Leadership Through Crisis and Change
After about a year and a half in the quality department, the company filed for Chapter 11 restructuring. Because of the success of the quality turnaround, Brea was promoted to Chief Operating Officer. She guided the company through restructuring, navigated the challenges of the COVID 19 pandemic, and helped the business regain its NSF certification.

Eleven months later, she was appointed Chief Executive Officer.

Driving Stabilization and Growth
Restructuring created uncertainty across the customer base, which led to significant revenue loss and customer concentration challenges. Over the next four years, Brea led efforts to strengthen the business. She improved margins, diversified the customer base, maintained high product quality, and rebuilt the operational and management teams.

These efforts enabled the company to stabilize, scale, and eventually complete a successful sale of its manufacturing operations.

Education and Interests
Brea holds a Master of Science in Engineering and Technology Management, a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science, a graduate certificate in Project Management, and a Six Sigma Green Belt. Outside of work, she enjoys fitness, hiking, rafting, mountaineering, and making wine.
